Automation Controls Engineer - PLC, HMI, SCADA

Position Overview
Based in Dallas, we are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networking, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for automation projects.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and SCADA systems.
Develop HMI interfaces for user interaction and monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
Maintain and upgrade existing control systems as necessary.
Provide technical support and training to operations personnel.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of proven experience in control systems design and PLC programming.
Familiarity with SCADA and HMI development tools.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols.
Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Rockwell automation products.
Knowledge of C++ programming for control applications.
Experience with robotics and motion controls is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

The salary range for this position is $90K to $120K depending on experience and qualifications
