Data Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes to facilitate data integration and analysis. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring data accessibility and reliability, contributing to our data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data pipelines for ETL processes.
Develop and maintain databases and data warehouses.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to provide the necessary data for analysis.
Optimize and tune SQL queries for maximum performance.
Document data architecture and data flows for reference and compliance.
Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools.
Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus.
Experience with Cloud Computing platforms, particularly AWS.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases and data modeling techniques.
Understanding of data mining and machine learning concepts is an advantage.
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
Basic knowledge of PHP is a plus.
Experience as a Data Analyst is a bonus.
