Controller
Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with regulations. This role is pivotal in guiding the strategic financial direction of the company and providing leadership to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax and audit requirements.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accurate financial analysis and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and process improvement.
- Utilize ERP systems, particularly Epicor, for effective inventory management and financial tracking.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making processes.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a mid to large-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems, especially Epicor, and other financial software.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
