Mechanical Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems, with a particular focus on marine engineering applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
- Conduct analysis of mechanical systems using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Create and oversee prototyping processes for new designs.
- Utilize 3D modeling techniques to visualize and test designs.
- Apply knowledge of thermodynamics and materials science in engineering projects.
- Manage manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project management teams to execute engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports to support engineering decisions and project proposals.
- Conduct engineering analysis to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues in designs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in marine engineering.
- Experience with prototyping and FEA is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and thermodynamics principles.
- Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
- Strong mechanical design skills with a focus on project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with robotics and technical documentation is advantageous.
