Partner - Transactions/M&A

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Partner in Transactions/M&A to lead our mergers and acquisitions practice. This role will focus on providing strategic legal advice to clients, guiding them through complex transactions while ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to completion.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate law matters and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate and draft transaction documents, including purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective transaction strategies.
  • Advise on corporate governance issues and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop junior attorneys and support staff within the M&A team.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
