Pre-Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing personal injury cases before they enter litigation, focusing on negotiation and settlement strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. This position requires strong advocacy skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and other parties involved in the case.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement negotiations
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of case details and legal precedents
  • Draft and review legal documents such as demand letters, settlement agreements, and other necessary filings
  • Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed about their cases and to gather necessary information
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties to secure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Attend mediation sessions and represent clients in settlement discussions
  • Develop case strategies and manage timelines to ensure timely resolution of cases
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law or a related field
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in settlement discussions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in case management and legal document drafting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively
  • Experience with mediation and advocacy in personal injury cases
