Title: Press Operator
Location: Syracuse or St, Cohoes, NY (2nd Shift)
Pay: $18-25/hour
Position Overview
The Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role involves ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to production specifications
- Monitor press operations to ensure quality and consistency of printed materials
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Maintain accurate production records and logs
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve issues
- Perform quality checks on printed products and adjust settings as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating flexographic printing presses
- Strong understanding of printing processes and equipment
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to printing operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Customer service skills are a plus
