Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Harrison City, PA

Salary:  $130-160k

Position Overview
The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing process in a chemical production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained. This role is crucial in managing production operations, scheduling, and coordinating with various departments to meet production goals and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall production process in the chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in production operations.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Monitor production metrics and make adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Lead and supervise production staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Implement and maintain PSM (Process Safety Management) protocols and procedures.
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or production management.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical production processes and safety regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
