Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This will be a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in real estate law, including handling residential and/or commercial closings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage files from contract to post-closing with efficiency, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage real estate transactions from contract through closing

  • Prepare and review settlement statements, deeds, and closing documents

  • Conduct title searches and resolve any title issues or pre-closing requirements

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, realtors, and other parties involved in the transaction

  • Coordinate disbursements, fund closings, and ensure timely recordation of documents

  • Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines for multiple transactions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of real estate law experience, preferably in a law firm or title company

  • Strong knowledge of Virginia real estate laws, title, and settlement procedures

  • Proficiency with real estate software (e.g., SoftPro, Easy HUD, or similar)

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
