Position Overview
A leading national, drywall commercial construction firm is expanding into the San Antonio market and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead the launch and long-term success of its newest location. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building a branch from the ground up, with the full support of a well-established corporate team. They already have work for this location so this hire will not be starting from scratch!

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Launch Phase (Remote):
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute a strategic plan for the San Antonio branch launch.
- Assist in identifying and securing local office space, vendors, and subcontractor relationships.
- Recruit and onboard key local staff and field personnel.
- Build relationships with potential clients, general contractors, and industry partners in the region.
Post-Launch Phase (On-Site):
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the San Antonio branch, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Lead business development efforts to grow the branch's client base and project pipeline.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers, estimators, and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
  Report regularly to senior leadership on branch performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in drywall commercial construction, with prior leadership or branch management experience.
Strong background in drywall or interior systems construction.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of growing business units or regions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
Ability to work independently during the remote phase and transition seamlessly to an on-site leadership role.

Compensation

Base Salary: $150K - $170K

Annual Bonus: DOE on individual, company, and branch performance. Estimated $20K - $35K.

Full standard benefits including insurance, company vehicle, gas card, 401k matching, PTO, etc.
