Position Overview
The Senior Staff Accountant will oversee the financial reporting process, ensure compliance with GAAP, and maintain accurate financial records for the organization. This position will play a crucial role in inventory reporting and job costing, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage general ledger activities and ensure accuracy of financial records
Perform job cost accounting to analyze project profitability
Oversee accounts receivable processes and ensure timely collection of payments
Assist with inventory reporting and valuation to maintain accurate stock levels
Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of experience in accounting roles
Experience implementing an ERP system
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with job costing and inventory reporting
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
