Sr. Electrical Estimator

Location: Mesa, AZ

Compensation: 150-170K base + bonuses + full benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate electrical estimates for a variety of projects, including hospitals, healthcare facilities, commercial electrical systems, and retail environments. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, contributing to our overall success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and necessary resources.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
Maintain a database of historical costs and use it to inform future estimates and proposals.
Assist in the development of bid proposals and presentations to clients.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
Monitor and update estimates as project scope changes or additional information becomes available.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in hospital, healthcare, commercial, or retail projects.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
