Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for a diverse client base. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, providing strategic tax advice, and leading a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Review and analyze tax returns prepared by team members for accuracy and compliance.
Stay updated on tax law changes and assess the impact on clients and the organization.
Lead a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
Develop and implement tax strategies to enhance client outcomes and drive business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
