Tax Senior
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while maximizing their financial efficiency. This position requires extensive experience in various tax forms and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax positions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist in managing client relationships and providing exceptional service to clients regarding their tax needs.
- Coordinate with junior staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and deliverables.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on tax preparation and review processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership tax, and individual tax returns.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
