Position Overview
The Lead Auditor will oversee and manage the internal audit function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. This role is vital in assessing risk management processes and the effectiveness of internal controls, providing insights to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and conduct internal audits in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Prepare and present audit reports to management and the Audit Committee.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues.
Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and IIA standards in audit practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate audits and provide guidance on internal controls.
Mentor and train junior audit staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or public accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IIA standards, and SOX compliance.
Proven experience in risk assessment and evaluation of internal controls.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
